About Me

Nothing special about me.  I'm a sarcastic Gen X chick who spent my whole life on the West Coast until recently.  I'm experiencing a new life straddling the barely noticeable differences between lush, green Seattle & the hot, humid Central US as a single professional. I'm sandwiched like a size 14 in Ditto pants between aging parents and my Millennial & Gen Z daughters and their husbands.  I have an amazing grandson to whom I try to impart deep, ancient concepts like analog clocks and cursive writing to with another two grandbabies on the way!

Like my fellow Gen X chicks, I have likes and dislikes, political leanings and blind spots.  This blog is about things that bring us together in a common spirit of nostalgia and aging commiseration.  I hope you enjoy it!

P.S.- I won't apologize for the incessant references to the love of my home state of California. Just get used to it!
